Chitosan Hemostatic Gauze is a 100% pure Chitosan dressing intended to promote wound bleeding-control and to provide a wet-surrounding for wound care purpose.
Chitosan is a kindofcellulose with healthcare function, which exists in crustaceans or guadruped insects. Chitosan has a varieties of biological activities, such as antibacterial, antioxidant, etc, and has hemostatic effect on blood coagulation. The product consists of a non-woven gauze coated in chitosan which can be applied to the region of trauma to promote clotingwithout an exothermic reaction.
Intended Use:
For the rapid control of moderate to severe bleeding and managenent of abrasions, lacerations, contusions, puncture wounds,and burns.

Time is critical when treating severe injuries in the field and saving time increases the chance of survival for the casualty in an emergency or hostile situation. To be effective in real use, haemostatic dressings need to work fast.
The current generation of hemostatic agents need at least 3 minutes of compression to work. Our Gauze removes the delay by speeding up packing time and reducing compression time to just 60 seconds while using the proven haemostat technology .
Instruction for Use:
1. Use appropriate size and number of Hemostatic Gauze based on the wound area and amount of bleeding or exudates clean the wound surrounding.
2. Apply Hemostatic Gauze directily to the wound.
3. To control bleeding, apply firm pressure for 1~3 minutes.
4. Secure it with adequate cover dressing, maintaining pressure to the wound.
5. For burns, irrtigate before covering wound completely with dressing, apply cover dressing of choice and secure.
6. When remove or replacement, use sterile saline or water to rinse the gauze and any remnants.
